THE BREW RITUAL
Step 1: The Water
Bring 4 oz of water to a rolling boil in your saucepan.
Step 2: The Blend
Add 1 Tbsp (~6g) of Firestarter Blend. (Use 1.5–2 Tbsp if you want maximum spice intensity).
Step 3: The Simmer
Simmer on low-medium heat for 3–5 minutes. This slow extraction unlocks the deep heat of the chili, ginger, and cracked peppercorn.
Step 4: The Milk & Gud
Add 4 oz of whole milk (or barista oat milk). Sweeten to taste with Gud (jaggery)—the natural molasses sweetness beautifully softens and balances the chili heat. Bring back to a gentle rise and foam, then remove from heat.
Step 5: The Pour
Pour through a fine mesh strainer into your kulhad or favorite mug. Sip hot.
